October 30, 2005 - 15:57

Tung lok food was wonderful. it was soooo good. the best of all the hotels and restaruant we tried so far.

darling was so nice, he just give in to all my choices. hahaha. we agreed that we like our wedding @ Fullerton =)

so Fullerton Hotel it will be. met the wedding planner on sat. very fruitful. loved her. but how to afford her services?

love my boy!

happy yet unhappy

October 29, 2005 - 00:11

Went to inner affairs and bought a lot of bra! haha. all the nice brands. so happy.

my mum is starting to irritate me BIG time.that makes me unhappy.

going healthy!

October 25, 2005 - 21:37

what's more important than anything else in the world?

HEALTH.

in this line that we work, i guess we know more than anyone else that health is sooo important.

parents want good health for children. i want good health for myself and dyl.

a trip to the doc today which cost me 58 bucks for her advice and dietary changes etc. so expensive but according to dyl, it's worth it.

gotta stop my medication for menstrual cramps and start on multi vitamins and EPO instead.

And i am going to eat salad and sandwiches, with lots of veggies. to detox myself and let my health improves.

not gonna wait till prob gets big or kanna thsoe funny diease. that'll be too late.

and when we get married, gotta make sure dyl go this health road too.

anyway, it will also benefit me on the skin and hair. will look good on the face when you are eating healthier.

afterall, you are what you eat. honestly, i dun know how many people out there actually is concerned about their health. for someone of my age, think i am really quite pro at this.

suddenly scare of death la!

looking for gynae!

October 24, 2005 - 22:34

ok i believe this is part of wedding plans.I am desperately looking for a gynae! so many choices that i dun know who to decide on!

gotta go for pre-marital checkup to ensure we are both doing great, well, at least let mummy knows we are fertile . haha.

dr tanny chan seems so popular but believe will be expensive. she's so famous afterall.

argh, dun care la. as long as i like her. dun need to be famous or wat. sigh. but no male gynae for me! gross.

caught in huge jam

October 24, 2005 - 21:21

Drove darling dyl to work today and got caught in the jam! it's so silly driving when the bus lane is moving faster than us! yucks, how come they released so many COEs??? it's causing BIG problem on the road!

gotta said i am VERY proud of my perpendicular parking, i have been driving for 10 months already and i am perfect at it! but i sucks at parallel parking! the last time i tried with dyl and shiyi on board, the car almost went down a drain - could have been killed by dad for that! hopefully dyl can refresh my memory and teach me how to parallel park once again when he gets there. =)

dyl was so sweet yesterday. made jelly sandwich for me! haha. but i had to reject it on grounds of dieting for the gown. i mean, this is silly, i should not be so obsessed about my weight and neglect the man i am going to walk down the aisle with!

clinicals so busy, gotta do wedding planning this weekend instead. and we are going noble house to taste their banquet food! yeah, i love wedding shows.

Weekend @ marche!

October 23, 2005 - 20:45

there's one thing i am really bad at which dyl is really great at = money management.

if not for him, i would most probably be bankrupt by now. hahaha. and good thing that he's keeping all the numbers in check and making sure we have enough to pay everyone, from hotel to house. =)

that's why he's my financial manager!

okie, wedding updates: over the weekend went to marche and harry's bar with my friends and dyl (actually those are his friends but now, considered mine too!) and they assured us that we will be able to break even with the angbaos from the guest for the banquet. haha. we told them we better do, else we gotta threaten the management that we gotta jump down from the hotel coz we have no money! keke.

but luckily, things in this world go out and come backs, coz our dear friends would be so nice as to pack a nice angbao to help us tide over the banquet and when they get married, we gotte pack back the angbaos! and every CNY, we gotta give angbaos! so technically, we give back to our dear friends after all =)

location still unbooked. wedding food tasting on next sat @ Noble House.

feeling tired over wedding planning and work. work is hmm, ok la.

Heaven's Gift or not?

October 19, 2005 - 23:03

i kinda surrended to the planning and called in a wedding planner from Heaven's Gift. Hopefully she is indeed heaven's gift to us! It will cost us another $1800 to hire her. So it seriously need to be considered again and again to see if it makes sense to spend this kind of money.

And my eyes are set on Chijmes indeed! Here's another look at how gorgeous it is!

Then again, my church looks just as nice. Too bad i can't use it!!!

throwing in the wedding planner

October 19, 2005 - 14:23

i really feel like getting a wedding planner. the amount of work is unbelievable. dylan's helping out by being in charge of the finances.

but still, the liaising for tents, venues, hotel, church is taking a toil on me. i think planning a wedding in under 11 months is ridiculous. we should have started earlier! most couples plan for 18 months. so we are 7 months behind!

Eyes upon Chjimes

October 19, 2005 - 13:04

I finally know what i want. not that much of a beachside after all (i am freaky about insects.) i want our wedding at Chjimes!

So lovely isn't it. and it fits nicely into the fact that we can't hold it@ St andrew cathedral, so we can now still walk down the aisle in a nice lovely church!

By the way, got my 3rd Bridesmaid. Presenting Ms Jieling! My Sec school best pal.

Dealings with hotel!

October 19, 2005 - 10:35

I had 10 hotels calling me all at the same time.
i was so busy trying to answer all the calls and my call waiting was so full and i was confused as to who i had asked to call back later and so that i gave up and just hang up the phone!

it went like this:" hello regina, this is xxx from fullerton hotel.." then ring ring "hello this is xxx from four seasons.." .. and so on and so forth. they are really out to get business huh!

except marina mandarin which gave a pretty not so polite reply so i am condemning them! it simply went" for you information, we do not provide an outdoor venue." full stop. didn't even bothered to check if i would consider a change of theme!

i was looking for a al fresco feeling so wanted somthing by the pool or rooftop. but most places offer limited space at pool and i have 200 guests to entertain. should i start cutting down on the number? i really don't know.

thanks bridesmaids!

October 19, 2005 - 09:10

I am off work for the third day! cos they didn't want me to infect the kids, the colleague etc. so i better stay home.and i am starting to run a temperature.but feeling happy and still planning for our wedding!

2 bridesmaid confirmed! Shiyi my best friend for god knows how many yrs has kindly agreed to be the Chief bridesmaid of Maid of Honour and Enhui, my JC best pal is going to be the other bridesmaid.

still going to invite a few more, i know the max is 12 so still got 10 more to go! haha.

And Man of Honour should be Dyl's best friend, Weicheng.

i am still considering, who shall be our witnesses on the paper? I mean my mother is definitely going to be one. but who shall be the other? dun know if should give it to my dad coz it doesn't seem like he thinks it's significant, then again, maybe he's just poor at communicating.

in fact, he's still in shock over the fact that i am getting married!

gotta wait for holy matrimony!

October 18, 2005 - 14:16

In order for us to get married in our church, St. andrews' cathedral (which has a long queue of couple awaiting to get married!) , we have to fulfil the following criteria:
- be confirmed, which we are still in the process.
- upon confirmation, need to be active member of the church for one yr (which means serving the ministry or tiding program)
- attend the marriage prep course

so that effectively means= we can't get married in the church next Sep as planned!!! we can only do the holy matrimony (if we want) in the cathedral in 2008! o my goodness. don't think we would want to wait that long. so gotta find a way to work this out. sigh, being a member of a very popular church can be hmm, troublesome.

so now what?

guess we can hold the solemnization first then wait till we meet the requirement then we do the holy matrimony. so when should we do the tea-ceremony? and the dinner? very confusing!

Guest list is being done!

October 18, 2005 - 11:33

I am starting to draw up the guest list for our wedding and the other details!

So exciting that i fell sick and got sent home today. Haha.

ok to entertain everyone, here's some pictures from our 2nd anniversary lunch exactly 1 month ago!
